Product Inventory Control Manager

Responsibilities:    *  Responsible for implementing worldwide inventory policies, procedures and inventory levels to meet customer requirements and corporate targets.    *  Together with EU sales management, customer service and product managers, establishes and maintains policies and procedures for HPF inventory levels in Gent.    *  Together with Asian sales management, customer service, RIS manufacturing, and product managers, establishes and maintains policies and procedures for HPF inventory levels in Suzhou and Hong Kong.    *  Together with HPF customer service, finance, manufacturing, and product managers, establishes and maintains policies and procedures for HPF inventory levels worldwide.    *  Directs production scheduling at HPF-W and RIS #2 to ensure lean manufacturing principles are followed.    *  Responsible for minimizing obsolete inventory.    *  Manages the HPF-W, RIS #2, and joint venture production to provide the best customer service at the lowest landed cost.    *  Develops and implements all inventory control procedures, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes to ensure accurate reporting of all PORON inventory (raw material, WIP, in-transit, and finished goods) worldwide.    *  Together with customer service, establishes and maintains minimum order quantities and over/under allowances for custom orders.    *  Leads the implementation of PeopleSoft manufacturing at HPF-W and establishes/maintains an effective worldwide inventory control system in PeopleSoft that is based upon industry best practice.    *  Responsible for the accuracy of BOMs and item masters.    *  Together with supply chain, establishes optimized raw material inventory levels and locations worldwide.Qualifications:    *  Bachelors Degree and at least 8 years experience with 3 of those years managing employees and teams.    *  Experience in the use of MRP systems.    *  APICS certification a plus.$100KExtensive benefit packageFull relocation package provided.
