Working as the primary contact between Marketing, Engineering, and Sales, you will be responsible for developing the company's product roadmaps and long term strategic vision. You should have experience in developing marketing plans and a proven ability to develop consensus and collaboration across diverse company functional disciplines and demonstrated ability for the development, implementation, and execution of portfolio marketing campaigns.7+ to 10 years of experience. This position requires a Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Marketing preferred), MBA preferred and detailed knowledge of or experience in the telecommunications industry, including technologies, market trends, and customer needs, and testing applications and techniques. Knowledge in Access network technologies, Ethernet, IP, xDSL, Copper IPTV, VoIP, and Home Networking is desired. We require 7+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in marketing functions for highly complex products and solutions in the communications market. Experience with Communications Equipment Manufacturers and OEMs is highly desired. To be successful, you should also have good presentation and listening skills, the ability to relate well with diverse groups and audiences, excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding group management skills, with the ability to work in a matrixed functional environment including multiple business units and sales channels. You will also need strong analytical and problem solving skills, solid financial skills and the ability to influence forecast accuracy. Expected travel estimated to be at least 50% both domestic and international.
