DescriptionProduct Manager will conduct market research (market potential, competitive and customer profiling, etc.), strategic planning (inputs), and business development as well as Fleet, OEM Dealer and Channel marketing. Additionally the incumbent will be responsible for the following communications related responsibilities: design & resources (website, radio, materials, advertising, editorial, collateral); campaign management (direct marketing, etc.); press releases and online presence; sales, distributor & customer training and seminars, and trade events. Other duties include product planning, product pricing and contract negotiations, commercial policies, product life-cycle management, technology road map management, product marketing management, product launch planning & execution. Responsibilities include overall product direction, decision-making based on risk management and trade-off assessments, and regular interaction with upper management. The incumbent is a product champion, manages product budgets, anticipates and develops strategies and action plans to meet client needs. Also the incumbent will participate in strategic decisions that will have long term impact on product success. The Product Manager must provide business leadership & direction to members of the cross-functional team as well as mentor staff. Additional duties as required.Required ExperienceA Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience in product management, preferably in an aftermarket business. Good presentation and communication skills. Proficient with MS Office programs. Ability to travel domestically 15 - 20% of time required.
