Main Responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for managing and developing business within the Mill Site Services product segments for paper, board, and tissue machines.  The Product Manager actively markets and sells products utilizing direct customer contacts and the sales network.


You will be responsible for profitability of the product team including budgeting and costs control.  You will also manage service packages from sales through on-site delivery.  Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout will be a primary duty. 


You will develop plans and strategies for enhancing and expanding service opportunities.  You will manage Field Service Representatives as relates to project deliveries including the resolution of customer complains, billing invoicing and warranty issues. 

You will have the responsibility for achieving targets of non-financial metrics such as customer face time, utilization, customer satisfaction, field report turn-around, and quote turn-around time. 

Requirements:

The successful candidate must be a team player and have a technical understanding of the products.  The candidate will also be able to provide clear and accurate communications between our customers and Metso with application work, creating project timelines, developing costing on projects and preparing quotations.  This person will be given authority and responsibility for product budgeting and cost control.

To be successful in this role you should have a Bachelors Degree in  Engineering or equivalent paper making experience.  Technical understanding of paper making equipment is required and proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point will be needed.

Good communication abilities are essential with both the customer and with your other internal Metso counterparts.  Occasional travel to customer sites will be required.
