Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: -Determine, establish and maintain overall product strategy, research and development requirements, marketing, and manufacturing coordination for new, existing, and emerging products. -Coordinate with various departments and maintain various customer and product market information. -Manage product from development to introduction to market, through appropriate exit strategies. -Address complaints and resolve problems. -Develop financial/technical justification analysis of product. -Provide technical expertise/training to other departments in support of product development. -Conduct marketing research and analysis to develop product definitions. -Collaborate with diverse functional areas to develop and provide product definitions that are responsive to customer needs and market opportunities. -Maintain communications and contacts to collect/analyze technical, financial, schedule, and sales information for product line. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university; and five years related marketing experience/training. SKILLS / ABILITIES: -Strong presentation and written and verbal communication skills. -Strong project management skills. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR REMARKS: MBA and/or dental industry experience a plus. Dental composite restorative management experience highly desirable.
