About the open position

 

JOB TITLE:Production Control Group Leader 

 

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

v Lead and ensure Safety, Quality and Waste Reduction initiatives

v Troubleshoot and resolve parts management and logistics issues

v Supervise Team Members and manage Human Resources issues such as attendance and behavior issues and corrective measures

v Partner and coordinate with internal and external suppliers and customers to ensure lean processes and on-time delivery 

v Support parts planning, ordering and delivery systems.

v Understand Key Performance Indicators to monitor and assess effectiveness and efficiency

v Assess and analyze current practices and make recommendations for improvement

 

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

v Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field; and/or 2+ years supervisory experience in production or manufacturing environment

v Flexible to work 1st and 2nd shifts

v Proven leadership and management skills

 

 DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

v Basic knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (safety, quality, effiency, cost, etc.)

v Well-organized

v Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

v Well-developed interpersonal communication and teamwork skills

v Understanding of material procurement, external and internal logistics, supply chain management

v Ability to work with all levels and cross-functionally

v Ability to be flexible, adaptable and work well under pressure
