Production Controller

Agusta Aerospace Corporation (AAC), a division of Agusta Westland, the worlds leading international aerospace and helicopter manufacturer is searching for a Production Controller. We are strategically located next to the Northeast Philadelphia airport in northeast section of Philadelphia and immediately outside of lower Bucks County, PA.

 

On Tuesday, February 19, 2008 we celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries, parent company executives and employees to commemorate the opening of our state of art AW139 manufacturing facility. In addition to the AW139 assembly, AAC is also responsible for A119 Ke production and supporting the expanding fleet of AgustaWestland helicopters in North and South America. This plant is also provides flight and ground course training activities.

 

AAC has doubled their workforce in the last two years and we are still growing to approximately 500 people. Summary of Position:

 

Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager performs the following duties and responsibilities:Perform various production control activities including gathering data and creating reports in order to track progress of production, monitoring work orders and use of materials  Create, maintain, and update operational production plan, monthly production progress report, and monthly production cost charts, and daily production restraint reports Release production work orders according to Master Production ScheduleResolve material shortages Order un-planned production requirements

 A. Education: HS diploma or equivalent, AA in Business Administration, Marketing, Financeis  preferred.

 

B. Experience:  2 years in a similar position in a related area.

 

C. Competencies & AttributesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, MECAPP, and SAP  A self-starter who has the ability to work independently from instructions or pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of monitoring production control  Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field from high-tech manufacturing industry.Strong written and oral communication skillsAdditional related and/or experience in aerospace is desirable.Well organized and adaptable with a flexible approachAble to work in a dynamic growing environment
