Production/Inventory Control Coordinator

A rapidly growing manufacturer and leader in the Pilates exercise equipment and education category, is searching for an experienced Production Control/Inventory Control Coordinator to support the Operations Department. A vertically integrated company, we manufacture a comprehensive line of innovative, premium quality Pilates equipment, provide instructor education, and partner with clubs and studios worldwide to provide marketing, programming and business support for a total solution selling model. Job Duties:

Ø  Coordinate/Negotiate Production Plan with Primary Supplier

Ø  Continuously communicate with Sales Staff and Suppliers to ensure accurate Production Plans

Ø  Liaison between Sales and primary supplier

Ø  Manage Production Capacity with all Suppliers to satisfy both Sales projections and customer orders

Ø  Prepare and release Purchase Orders to various vendors through SAP software

Ø  Process invoices from suppliers into Goods Receipts within SAP

Ø  Manage Inventory levels in various warehouses under the Operations umbrella

Ø  Execute inventory transfers within Operations warehouses

Ø  Participate in cycle counts

Ø  Reconcile all inventory discrepancies

Ø  Complete reconciliation of invoice discrepancies from suppliers

Ø  Provide necessary documentation/information to Accounting so that they can invoice customers

Ø  Assist with any customer service issues that involve production

Ø  Assist with shipping issues that involve production

 

Job requirements:

Ø  Experience in Production Control and capacity planning in a manufacturing environment.

Ø  Experience in Inventory Control for a varied product line.

Ø  Experience in order fulfillment software. Familiarity with SAP or SAP Business 1 a plus.

Ø  Proficiency with Office Suite especially Excel, this is a must.

Ø  Ability to work and communicate with manufacturing/production personnel both domestically and internationally.

Ø  Willing to work with his/her hands on an as needed basis to support operational requirements.
