Production Leader

Specific responsibilities include: o Follow established process discipline including ISO procedures o Understand, track, and improve OEE o Prioritize daily work o Report daily performance o Define and execute continuous safety improvement o Ensure proper house keeping is maintained at all times o Support Six Sigma efforts as a team member or leader o Ensure employees have the training to meet their job requirements o Collaborate in the management of the Materials Replenishment System and KANBAN database o Monitor and control costs in the factory unit assigned; develop and implement cost improvement programs o Define and execute continuous quality improvement o Ensure timely execution of operator and maintenance PM's o Organize and manage the area using 5S principles o Must demonstrate and model a strong work ethic, including initiative to improve processes o Identify and solve problems in a participative manner o Manage performance through setting standards, expectations, and ensure that performance is achieved o Communicate opportunities, priorities and company requirements clearly and effectively in an open two-way approach. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization o Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to changeMinimum Qualifications o Technical BS or equivalent degree or comparable experience o Minimum two years manufacturing experience in a supervisory role o Ability to work any shift Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required o Familiarity with ISO 9001 standard and quality system o Familiarity with Six Sigma analytical tools o Ability to achieve performance goals o Presentation skills o Working knowledge of common computer software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workbrain, Outlook For quick consideration apply here
