Production/Material Planning Supervisor

The HS Spring Plant in Hickory, NC is seeking an experienced Production/Material Planning Supervisor to manage Production Control and Customer Service departments. This position will involve all aspects of inventory management.

 

In order to be considered for this position, applicants MUST have the following prior experience:

 Minimum of 2 years related inventory management, customer orders and production planning or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Programs. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.Must be a problem solver and have the ability to establish new practices for inventory control Must be self-motivated and self disciplined, with the ability to handle multiple. Must be familiar with J.D. Edwards or similar software package

 

Knowledge of ISO and/or TS 16949 requirements and Lean Principles is a plus. Additionally, costing and estimating will be a plus, as well as knowledge of shipping activities.

 

Successful candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in supervision. An outstanding benefits package, and competitive wages are offered.
