Production Planner / Administrative Professional

Production Planner / Administrative Professional Company in the city of Burbank is currently looking for a Production Planner / Administrative Professional. Job Duties Include: Handles processing of international sales orders with heavy correspondence via email, fax and busy phones. Checks availability of stock. Schedules delivery dates. Prepares packing slip, proform invoices. Coordinates shipping arrangements with freight companies for US and International destinations. Works directly with sales colleagues, assisting with all aspects of entering sales orders and returns or repairs and follow up correspondence. Handles returns, exchanges and repairs of equipment. Maintains and updates customer database for mailers and promotional materials. Mails catalogs and product information to customers. Responsible for maintaining the customer's files and correspondence. QUALIFICATIONS: Self motivated and able to multitask Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, and order entry software, such as Made2Manage. Must be customer service oriented with excellent phone skills. Must have strong communications skills in both written and oral. Must be familiar with working with freight companies regarding scheduling pick up and delivery of shipments. Experience: 1 - 2 years experience in customer service, preferably with a manufacturer, distributor or company that does direct sales through catalogs. Must be able to lift 30 lbs without difficulty. Measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of machines.
