Position Description

As the Production Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the scheduling and coordination of production and workflow between departments and sub-suppliers as well as to expedite production based on customer delivery schedules by performing the following duties:

· Coordinate timely receiving of raw material and production tooling

· Inform customers that schedules will be met or of any delays

· Review master production schedule and establish priorities based on availability

· Create annual and monthly capacity and manpower plans

· Maintain inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production

· Control inventory and work on inventory reduction to improve cash-flow

· Reschedule identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups

· Set and meet monthly Sales goals

· Responsible for control and reduction of shipping cost

 

Requirements

The successful candidate for Logistics Manager will have the following qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field or relevant experience

· 3+ years experience in logistics or production planning

· Demonstrated leadership and management capability

· Team player

· Flexibility

· Interest in learning

· Analytical and problem solving skills

· Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint

· SAP experience a plus

· TS16949 or QS9000 experience a plus

· German language skills a plus

· Strong work ethic, patience
