SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Production Superintendent is responsible for directing and coordinating paper machine operations, calender, rewinders (finishing), coating and stock prep.  They ensure maximum production, meeting all quality requirements in the most efficient, economical, and safest manner.  The Production Superintendent promotes Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and provides leadership to meet/exceed key operation targets in safety, production and quality. 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science

▪ Six to 15 years of mill production experience with supervisory experience

▪ Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma (LSS), PI Process Book, SAP, computer modeling and statistics is highly desirable
