Qualifications:
Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring a safe working environment, and supervising a trained work team to produce fiber cement siding and backer board products in accordance with standard operatimg procedures and management objectives established.The position of Production Supervisor is responsible for employee productivity and output; Quality, safety and units per work hour. The position directs, coordinates and evaluates the activities of a fabrication department through subordinate leads and workers. The position requires a manufacturing experienced individual with strong interpersonal and leadership management skills. Work situations require organization, prioritization, discretion and good judgment in decision making and interpretation of information. Major decisions are subject to review and approval by the Plant Manager. Internal contacts include all levels of employees and management. External contacts may include customers/distributors. Both internal and external contacts require the ability to establish rapport and maintain professional relationships. Bachelor's degree preferred3-5 years in a progressively responsible manufacturing environment2 years experience as a production supervisor in a high labor-based company is desirable.
