Our client has a production facility near Oshkosh and they need to fill a first shift Production Coordinator position. This is a great company that is growing and promotes from within.

Requirements:
1. Associates Degree (bachelors in engineering is desired) and 3+ years of welding or sheet metal fabrication experience in a medium/high volume manufacturing environment.
2. Must have experience in supervising in one of two environments:
A. Production welding using TIG and MIG
B. Metal fabrication using press brakes and sheet metal folding machines
3. You must have a basic understanding of process control, production scheduling, and blueprint reading.
4. The right candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, basic problem solving and troubleshooting ability, along with proven leadership capabilities.
5. Computer literacy is desired, specifically the ability to demonstrate proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.

Duties:
1. Coordinate daily activities to maintain scheduled production requirements for weld or metal fabrication cells
2. Ensure that employees are properly trained in the areas of equipment operation, quality policy, safety and housekeeping, and interpersonal skills required to perform their duties.
3. Interface with technical staff to ensure proper support
4. Establish annual goals and objectives that support the attainment of operating budgets.
5. Work on continuous process improvement projects
