Production Supervisor with a Scheduling Bag of Tricks

Seeking an Experienced, Hands-On Supervisor with a food scheduling background who can

juggle multiple prioritiesin a fast paced Food Manufacturing environment.

 

This position will work closely with the Cream Cheese, Tuna Salad and Bread Production teams.

 

Some of the responsibilities and criteria include:

·  Ordering inventory to acceptable levels

·  Using Excel and other computer programs with mastery

·  Work with Distribution Centers to evaluate their inventory levels to anticipate needs

·  Schedule product and associates to meet the demands of nationwide customers inventory needs and seasonal increases/decreases to optimize profitability.

·  Setting records for keeping waste, expired products and food costs low

·  Coach and mentor associates to be the best they can be and to work safely and follow all GMP’s & FDA requirements.

·  Assist the Bread Production Supervisors with shift coverage from time to time.

·  Must be willing to get out on the production floor to help make sure all equipment is operating properly

·  Communicate with both internal and external customers to keep everyone happy!!

 

 

One of the biggest challenges you will face will be to schedule the Cream Cheese and Tuna Salad productions to meet the ever changing demands of over 1160 café’s nationwide. This includes inventory level management, labor schedules, shipping.
