BASIC FUNCTION
Under the general direction of the Supply Chain Manager-Kallista and the Product Development Team Leader, this analyst will develop and publish metrics, develop and publish NPD project tracking, perform root cause analysis to identify necessary process improvements, and implement process improvements This analyst will perfom these activities to drive improved availability of new products, on time delivery, and inventory turnover within the Kallista Supply Chain.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide support to the Kallista New Product Development process via developing centralized reporting and tracking to reduce non value added data entry activities to ensure projects are delivered on time.

2. Provide detailed NPD project tracking, publish NPD Inventory Tracking report on a weekly basis, and publish the NPD Weekly Update report. Assist the Product Development Team Leader, Buyer(s), and Material scheduler(s) in identifying NPD process improvement opportunities.

3. Provide support in maintaining Kallista’s New Product Development Schedule.

4. Maintain and enhance Kallista’s Supply Chain Metrics Dashboard. Publish the dashboard on a monthly basis. Provide recommendations for improvement.

5. Coordinate a quarterly review of SKU classification between Supply Chain and Marketing to ensure proper stocking strategies are implemented.

6. Develop process maps for key supply chain and NPD processes to facilitate process improvement, new employee training, and management review.

7. Lead supply chain projects related to continuous improvement.

8. Identify opportunities to make process improvements and leverage systems to deliver scalable processes that will support Kallista’s growth targets.

9. Ad hoc analysis and other tasks as assigned.


RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervisory Relationships:
• Reports to the Supply Chain Manager - Kallista.
• Reports dotted line to the Product Development Team Leader

Organization Relationships:
• Frequent interaction with Product Managers, Designers, Sales, Customer Service, Engineers, CAD Technicians & Accounting
• Moderate interaction with the General Manager-Kallista
• Occasional collaborative associations with Kohler Supply Chain Associates
• Occasional interaction with BES associates

External Business Relationships:
• Suppliers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelors Degree is required. An emphasis in Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred. Experience with report development utilizing Access, SAP, SAS, or Impromptu is required. MS Project experience is preferred. PMI and/or APICS certifications are preferred. Experience with forecasting is a plus.
