Our design engineers work a new state of the art development center and work with a team of R&D professionals to get the job done. 

 

 

Job Purpose:

Develops products by developing design and test solutions; approving prototypes.

Duties:

* Develops product design solutions by completing design analysis and calculations; evaluating options; performing trade-off studies; selecting optimum solution; coordinating with suppliers.

* Proves product design by developing test plans; advising assembly laboratory; adjusting design; running performance calculations; maintaining quality standards; approving prototypes.

* Maintains product budget by tracking developmental costs; identifying probable product manufacturing costs; examining least-cost alternatives.

* Maintains iso documentation by recording design, assembly, and test procedures.

* Develops product literature by recording, interpreting, and explaining technical data and performance.

* Provides technical support by providing information and answers to other departments; offering solutions regarding warranty problems.

* Updates job knowledge by tracking product codes; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Product Development, Product Knowledge, Requirements Analysis, Quality Focus, Presenting Technical Information, Informing Others, Tracking Budget Expenses, Teamwork, CAD, CAD/CAM Circuit Design, AutoCAD.
