Project Engineer/Environmental

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide project management for new orders receivedfrom inception to shipping, review technical equipment specifications,generated submittal packages for customer review and approval. 

 

Manage large scale projectsafter they are released for manufacturing, stay within budget anddeadlines.  This includes acquiringmaterials and resources from suppliers and contractors in order to deliver theproject according to customer requirements.

 

Provide technical support toEngineering, Sales and Manufacturing Departments.

 

Vendor coordination.

 

Conducting equipment start upservices and field training as required.

 

Related duties as required.

 

Experience:Three to five years related experience working in an Engineering Department foran equipment manufacturer in a Project Management and/or EnvironmentalEngineering capacity.

 

Education:Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Environmental or related field.

 

Skills and Knowledge:

 

Excellent organizational,management and communication skills.

 

Manage Multiple projects.

 

Knowledge of pumps and fanoperation, and basic instrumentation (pH, ORP, Conductivity, Flow, Pressure).

 

Mechanical aptitude. 

 

Familiarity with AirPollution Control Equipment and air movement.

 

Team player.

 

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.  ACAD a plus but no mandatory.

 

Work Environmental & Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

 

Overtime may be necessary aswork load’s dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.

 

Job will generally beperformed in an office environment, but may require travel to and visit aClient’s office, production facility or industrial/construction job site.

 

Conditions will vary at eachlocation, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.

 

Travel:  Approximately 25%
