As a Project Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for managing project inventory across all North American Vestas Project sites.

 

This position will effectively manage large and complex inventories across North American Projects (including the distribution of these inventories within & between warehouses).

 

 Specific tasks for this position will include but are not limited to:

 

· Working knowledge of inventory processes and hierarchy for SAP inventory module.

· Maintains a current standard inventory list for projects for all turbine types.

· Ensures there is a $300 or less write off on monthly counts on projects.

· Ensures that projects are closed out 8 weeks from the time that the project is closed.

· Generates reports on inventory statistics and inventory processes.

· Provides guidance and scheduling of Project Inventory Assistants.

· Participates in the development and support of global and regional materials strategies.

· Develops business practices as part of company growth to support both current and future operations.

· Efficiently manages the full-spectrum of inventory operations.

· Organizes and conducts physical inventories as required.

· Interacts with all corporate functions when developing and executing inventory strategies.

· Manages SAP inventory modules in multiple locations.

· Other tasks as assigned.

 

Interested candidates must meet the minimum qualifications:

 

· Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar discipline.

· 2 or more years managing full spectrum operations for inventories valued at $3 to $8 Million.

· 2 or more years in a manufacturing, distribution and service organization.

· Knowledge of inventory management strategies to employ with current and anticipated futre operations.

· Well-versed in one or more major manufacturing ERP systems.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

· Strong computer skills, specifically with MS Office products.
