Job Overview:

The primary objective for the Project Manager is to oversee and coordinate product development projects through Magline’s new product development process.  This individual is responsible for achieving project goals to increase margin, penetrate market segments, and help strengthen our position with customers.  The Project Manager leads cross functional teams, works with customers, makes pricing recommendations, and provides direction in the building of prototypes.  Involvement in all aspects of product development and responsibilities throughout the product life cycle is a part of this role. This exempt position reports directly to the Product Development Manager.

Job Requirements Include:

·  The proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, within budget, and meeting all deadlines

·  Demonstrated ability to understand pricing, cost, margin information, and basic business finance

·  Bachelor’s degree required

·  Work experience of 3 years or more in a related field with management responsibility

·  Strong motivator without having staff authority

·  Experience and/or education in research skills is preferred

·  Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as cutting, punching, and welding is a plus

·  Computer and software competency required to work with MS Office software (Excel, Project, and Word), with the ability to learn the Visual software package

·  Must be willing to work extra hours as needed

·  Must be willing to travel approximately 20%

·  Must be willing to reside in a community near our corporate headquarters located in Pinconning, MI
