Project / Program Manager

INJEX INDUSTRIES Inc., is a Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturing Operation in Hayward, CA supplying automotive interiors in a Just In Time (JIT) environment.

 

Position overview:

 

The Project / Program Manager will be the primary interface between customer, engineering and manufacturing to finalize product/system solutions and coordinate all engineering changes, prototype and preproduction builds and program launch reviews.

 

Summary of qualifications:

 

·  Degree in engineering (preferably in Engineering or Manufacturing)

·  Successful program management and launch experience

·  Knowledge of plastics technology (injection molding)

·  Management program to key time lines, modifying key milestones, using central program management

·  Strong knowledge of the automotive marketplace, its customers and business climate

·  Ability to take charge and lead with assertiveness while building trust and confidence both internally and externally

·  Proven time management and project planning skills

·  Experience in a lean manufacturing environment highly desired

·  Good financial understanding

·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·  Effective communicator and presenter in formal and informal settings

·  Proficient with MS Project software along with the MS Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
