About the Company

Inca Corporation was founded in 1971. We are a small internationally operating company with 3500 dealers in North America alone. Our primary business is the development of automation equipment to move television displays, plasma screens, projectors, appliances, and other related items from concealed locations, to allow them to be viewed or operated. Our product line includes TV Lifts, Pullout and Swivel systems, Table conversions, Automated Door Systems, and Lifts to raise and lower Projectors from the ceiling or floor. Job Description
The proposal development employee shall receive requests for proposals from the sales department and process these requests by developing a comprehensive technical proposal. The quotation is returned to the sales administrator, in a timely and expeditious manner. Including but not limited to working directly with sales, technical, and engineering, calculation of dimensions, entering quotations, answering incoming customer/sales inquires, making outgoing customer inquire calls, responding in a timely manner to incoming e-mails questions, become completely familiar with all the company’s product line and can discuss any product with customers and potential customers. Technical training and familiarity with general mechanical systems is a definite plus.

Specific Responsibilities:
*Produce a proposal using excel and Accpac in a timely and expeditious manner.

 

*Working with the engineering department to make sure drawings or technical requirements are met with the completed proposal.

 

*Working with customer service to ensure that what is being proposed will meet the needs of the customer.

 

*Skilled in the use of Accpac, Goldmine, Word and Excel software programs a must.

*Technical training and familiarity with general mechanical systems is a definite plus.

 

*The proposal development engineer must have a comprehensive ability to accurately conduct arithmetical operations.

 

*Keep careful records, make well-written notes, and to conduct clear and effective communications with fellow workers.

*Learn and understand the complete array of products.

*Exhibit a professional and courteous manner at all times.

*Continually communicate and assist in resolving any issues that would affect customer relationships.

*Provide assistance to all sales channels as needed and requested.

*Take full responsibility for individual actions.

*Perform tasks for special projects as assigned.

*Understand and follow company rules and regulations.

*Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

*Maintain business confidentiality relative to pricing, promotion, customer lists, and methods of distribution.

*Perform all other proposal development duties as assigned by manager.


Requirements:
Conduct arithmetical operations
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and maintain accuracy is required.
