Purchasing

PRIMARY PURPOSE:  Purchasing of outside products. Negotiating materials, outside printing and print related functions, to the most desirable supplier.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 Purchase bill of material associated with ASH production. Purchase of jobs to be printed at outside vendors based on ASH specifications. Work with all departments to give accurate information on receiving and delivery dates.Purchase internal supplies as needed for ASH daily operations.Negotiating with Vendors to insure best possible pricing and delivery.Assist with maintaining inventory needs.Maintains outside vendors and consignment inventory. 

MENTAL DEMANDS:  Good written and verbal communication skills, mathematics, analysis, interpretation, trouble-shooting, judgment, problem solving, ability to handle several projects at one time and meet deadlines.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Computer keyboarding, hearing, talking, vision, walking, sitting, reaching.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED: Computer keyboarding, excellent math skills, Good Communication Skills. Microsoft Outlook.
