Purchasing / Inventory Control
Purchasing Agent / Inventory Control
Knowledge of Quickbooks & the Sheet Metal Industry
Process requisitions for all purchases
Purchase all items & materials related to ongoing jobs, shop maintenance, repair
Negotiate pricing & payment terms and update the Quickbook & Access systems
Maintain purchase orders daily with accurate pricing & delivery information
Maintain effective communication regarding order status (estimators, shop foreman and all affected parties)
All shipping & receiving
Process appropriate paperwork - packing slips, receipts, invoices, etc
Resolve all receiving discrepancies and reconcile invoices with A/P
Inventory Control - stocking & unloading of materials, labeling & staging of materials, cycle counts, mid / max levels, ABC counting
Forklift experince a plus.
