Purchasing Manager - International

DESA LLC, a major manufacturer of indoor and outdoor heating products, specialty tools, and lawn and garden equipment, is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Purchasing team China location. 

 

 

PURCHASING MANAGER

 

The International Purchasing Manager is responsible for the on time procurement of materials to support production schedules by controlling and negotiating the purchase of raw materials & finished goods, supplies and services.  In addition, this position is responsible for selecting vendors and monitoring raw material trends.  Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in OEM.  Strong computer and MRP skills are a must; lean manufacturing experience is a plus. Heavy QC involvement. Must be Fluent in speaking both English and Mandarin Chinese languages. Position will be stationed in China, reporting to USA Company.
