With sales in 160 countries, we serve institutional and industrial end-users such as food service providers, lodging establishments, food and beverage processing plants, building service contractors, retail outlets and health-care facilities.   The Position   The North American Purchasing Manager - Indirect develops policies, procedures and objectives for the operation of the purchasing group in accordance with departmental, corporate objectives and limits of authority. The right candidate will have very strong negotiations, leadership and cost management skills and history. Experience within the service industry as well as the ability to re-designing an optimum purchasing department.   This position is a management position and requires experience managing purchasing professionals. The experienced Indirect commodities requiring previous experience are as follows : travel agency, airlines, hotel, office space, warehouse, T&E cards, cards, facility – janitorial, cafeteria, water etc), consulting, temp employees, business stationary, office materials/supplies, incentive and event travel and utilities. The spend for this position is $200 - 400 Million.   The North American Purchasing Manager - Indirect will report to the Global Director of Chemical Sourcing and will work within a matrix structure.   Requirements   A Bachelor’s Degree is a mandatory degree needed for the position, advanced degree is a plus. The proper candidate will have 8 to 10 years experience.
