Purchasing Specialist/Buyer

General duties include but are not limited to: Managing Purchase Orders Quotation support and management for all specified commodities – work with CM’s to identify, launch and manage commodity strategy. Monthly Delivery Performance Management Supplier Expediting Project analysis and forecasting Supplier Invoice/Payment Resolution Supplier Transition Execution Commodity Team Participation RFQ Data Support New Products Introduction – commodity support Monthly Reporting – cost savings, ppv, inventory and past dues Contract Compliance through various projects based on company requirements Work cross functionally with the finance and MVP organizations to ensure cost savings are validated and tracked appropriately Strong analytical and organizational skills Must work well in participative team environment Results oriented Strong customer focus (Internal/External) Problem solving and project management skills MRP system knowledge Purchasing knowledge and foundation in a manufacturing environment.
