Q.C. Technician

Responsibilities:
-Perform and document incoming raw material quality inspections within required time frames.  Review certifications from vendors.

-Perform and document in-process and final quality inspections of finished goods within required timeframes.

-Maintain records of all inspections.

-Complete nonconforming product reports.  Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel.  Provide the data necessary to help properly disposition nonconforming material.

-Assign lot numbers for material traceability.

-Prepare and issue certificates of conformance.

-Perform audits to ensure quality system conforms to ISO 9001:2000 standards.

-Maintain a clean and safe work area.

-Understand and follow all safety procedures.



Requirements:

-High school diploma or GED.

-Two or more years experience working as a quality inspector in a manufacturing environment.

-Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.

-Ability to use various measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, flatness gauges, durometer, etc.).

-Ability to perform basic math functions.

-Computer literate.
