QA Inspector

We are currently seeking a QA Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies, subassemblies, parts, components, and processes for conformance to specifications and procedures.

 

The essential functions of the position include the following:

Incoming inspection and test of parts and materials per work instructions using various measuring and test equipment Inspect, test, measure, and record results of first article parts and products Examine units for physical defects such as broken or missing components, excess solder, scratches, cracks, chips, etc. Measure parts and assemblies to verify accuracy of dimensions Perform in-process inspections of products and procedures Outgoing inspection of finished product per work instructions Process parts, materials, and products in computer system Generate incoming and outgoing inspection related forms  Assist Quality Engineer in performing various measurements and tests

 

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be able to read, write, and speak English Experience with incoming and outgoing and in-process inspection Ability to read, understand, and interpret dimensions as found on mechanical drawings Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, plug gages, height gages, multimeters Ability to create, update, and revise documents in Microsoft Word and Excel
