QA Inspector Opening!!!

A premier manufacturer of custom machines is seeking a QA Inspector. This position includes responsibility for prevention-based quality planning tasks in addition to a wide range of inspections, including mechanical, CMM and Laser Tracker.  Additional responsibilities include participation in quality audits with customers and vendors.

 

Requirements:Associate DegreeDemonstrated ability to interpret customer drawings and specifications related to machine and weld shop production processes, including proficiency with geometric dimensioning and shop mathWorking knowledge of basic machine shop inspection technologies and sound measurement practicesAbility to detect and identify typical defects found in materialsProficient in selecting, calibrating and using precision machine shop gaugingPossesses written, verbal and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperativelyDemonstrated ability to program and operate CMM or laser tracker, proficiency in using PC and related QA software, and familiarity with CAD software packagesExperience and training in conducting quality auditsWorking knowledge of statistical sample, SPC, gage studies and statistical analysis
