QA Manager

New Breed Corporations, headquartered in Greensboro, NC, is a third-party logistics service provider (3PL) that helps companies design and operate efficient supply chains. We manage millions of square feet of warehouse space across more than 50 distribution centers in the U.S. and employ more than 5000 people. Services range from distribution center operations and transportation management to highly sophisticated and technology-focused solutions involving product assembly, vendor managed inventory, reverse logistics and repair.

 

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for our dynamic operation in Ft. Worth.

 

Summary of Functions:

 

Is appointed by top management with the responsibility and authority to ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained; reports to management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement; ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization; possesses the organizational freedom to resolve matters pertaining to quality and maintain product/service conformity.

 

Essential Functions:Execute the Quality Management System according to New Breed documented policies and procedures, meeting the requirements of the applicable international quality standard(s)Serve as the site audit authority for all internal and external company auditsExecute corrective and preventive actions including initiation and recommendation of solutions; measurements of performance; project management; approval authorizations; verifying the solutions have been implemented; managing further processing, release or installation of nonconforming service, until the defect has been corrected.Implement Company quality initiatives at their facility as required (i.e., 7S, Lean, SixSigma, ACE, etc.)

Education and/or Experience Requirements:Prior experience with ISO9001 and/or other Quality Standards preferredCollege degree preferred.
