QC Technician

QC LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Kerley Ink is searching for a QC Laboratory Technician to work in our color products development lab in the near-west suburbs of Chicago. We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic person who enjoys technical challenges and hands-on work. Typically, work includes: conducting routine tests on batch ink products, color matching, quality control.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

o High School diploma preferred

o 2 – 5 years experience with lab procedures and equipment

o Ability to visually discern colors

o Attention to detail

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

o Knowledge of ink systems and color matching preferred

o Demonstrated ability to apply basic mathematics, geometry and chemistry

o Ability to analyze, interpret and effectively articulate routine test results

o Self-motivation
