QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN

Genie Industries, is a $2 billion (revenue) division of Terex Corporation, a Fortune 500 company and the 3rd largest heavy construction equipment manufacturer. Genie, based in Redmond, WA, has approximately 4500 team members spread throughout the globe, though Redmond is the primary location, with 3000+ team members spread across the corporate campus. Develop, maintain and perform audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.  Frequently works with external and internal suppliers to resolve quality issues, find root causes, and determine corrective actions.  Participate in Lean continuous improvement process. Candidate must demonstrate/provide the following skills and services: • Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Assurance preferred • Some Project Management experience preferred • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and methods. • Ability to eliminate Quality challenges using poke-yokes and Zero QC techniques • Ability to compile and analyze data • Production Line Quality resource person • Quality audit development, quality measurement • QRB tracking, measurement, countermeasure • Understanding SPC, and process capability determination. • Technical expertise to identify root cause through data analysis. • Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement improvements quickly. • Excellent problem solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to teach others. • Ability to work independently, and within a team. • Flexibility to work overtime, different shifts, and travel on short notice as necessary. • Ability to work well under compressed time constraints. • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time. • Understanding of how to utilize precision measurement tools.
