QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER/MECHANICAL INSPECTOR



JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Our Quality Control Department is looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector with strong technical skills.  You must be able to read and interpret blueprints and possess a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerencing (GD&T) and its application.  You must be able to program and run CMM, as well as have the ability to produce accurate documentation.  General computer skills are desirable.

 

 

SKILLS REQUIRED
 

Ø  Excellent knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading

Ø  Knowledge of CMM programming (Brown & Sharpe PCDMIS a real plus)

Ø  Basic math skills (general computation, decimals, percents, fractions)

Ø  Familiarity with ISO/QS9000 standards

Ø  Working knowledge of SPC/SQC, GR&R, and basic process capability

Ø  ASQ Certified; CMI or CQT desirable

Ø  3-5 years Quality Control experience

 



HOURS
Mon-Friday -- 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
