JOB DESCRIPTION

 

POSITION / DEPARTMENT:  Quality Assurance –Quality Engineer

LOCATION:   Chatsworth, CA

SALARY RANGE:   Starting at $21.00 Hourly Rate, Based On Qualifications

SHIFT:    Day

 

BASIC FUNCTIONS:Seeking a Quality Assurance engineer, reporting to the Department Manager.  The ideal candidate will be a self-started, motivated and demonstrate he/she can work under minimal supervision.  The candidate must have prior experience in the field and have the ability to work with diverse personalities.  Other qualities include good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assignments relating to product discrepancies and product quality.Work closely with engineers and manufacturing managers for problem resolution and provide recommendations.Inspect and evaluate customer returned product for defects and reporting.Compile statistical defect data & charting.Evaluate and monitor the manufacturing, assembly and testing processes.Compile and rework trends and non-conforming trends analysis.Develop reports for management review.

 

REQUIREMENTS:Electrical background required.Detailed oriented and hand on.  Willing to take on various duties within the QA Department.Experience in the aerospace industry and RF experience is a plus.Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel and management.Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.Minimum of 2 years experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing environment.Resume with salary history is required.
