QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Greystone, Inc. is a leading Tier I,II manufacturer for the automotive and aerospace industries with three operating facilities on the east coast.  Greystone is TS-16949 certified and recognized as a leader in the machining of safety critical turned parts and in the field of electroplated wear coatings.

As a member of our first shift Quality team based in our Lincoln, RI plant your responsibilities will be as follows:
Perform gage calibration, update procedures, control plans and work instructions. Perform in-process and final product validation through the application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products. Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulation of data. Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities. Proof read and approve certifications generated for outgoing product and services.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years experience in quality operations in a manufacturing facility. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accreditation as an ASQ Certified Quality Technician a plus.  The successful candidate will be encouraged to attain and maintain this accreditation. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
