Quality Leader

 

Enhancing company’s competitive advantage by providing “best value” distribution for products/services; reports directly to Distribution Center Manager.  Lead all partners in assuring quality requirements are met while concentrating on ongoing development and success.  

Quality Requirements:  Maintaining and implementing established quality goals and practices.

Leadership: Act as a role model for quality and Continuous Process Improvement.

Communication:  Communicate established quality goals to all partners and constantly reinforce the fundamentals of quality through leadership practices.  Review the cost of quality (PLE) with all partners (salaried and hourly).

Progress:  Continually monitor progress in quality and allocate the necessary resources for improvement.

Feedback: Ensure quality feedback is given to partners expeditiously to prevent future mistakes..

 

Quality Responsibilities: Ensure all functions are meeting quality requirements within established guidelines and procedures for area(s) of responsibility.

Customer Satisfaction:  Be proactive in establishing and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing customer service feedback to the appropriate departments.

 

Competitive Urgency: Ensure that all customer problems are handled expediently and in the best interest of company.

 All Other Duties: Perform all other duties assigned including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills, and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks in support of the total division.  Personal Requirements:            Physical: Exhibits the stamina to meet the physical demands of the job. Travel Overnight: Travel by airplane or automobile to various facilities.  Maintain a valid driver’s license. Mobility:  Travel freely throughout the plant and office facility observing workflow. Environment: Withstand high/low temperatures, dirt and dust Vision:  Have correctable vision. Posture:  Be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Lifting:  Able to lift 45 pounds   Push: Able to push fully loaded carts
