Quality Analyst - Engineer

MedPlast Elkhorn is a silicone and rubber molder serving the healthcare and selected industrial markets.  We are part of the newly formed MedPlast Group, which, in addition to silicone and rubber molding, provides thermoplastic molding services for healthcare and selected industrial markets, from five locations in the US.  Our business is built on  adding value through exceptional technical expertise, working closely with customers from the early design stage on, and providing the rigor and control required by the healthcare and other demanding industries.  These markets are growing and active.

We are seeking a Quality Analyst - Engineer whose initial duties will be:1.  Set up and analyze designed experiments and gage R&R studies as part of tool and process validation procedures.2.  Working with Engineering and Production, put tool and process validation packages together.  These typically include control plans, process flow diagrams, PFEMAs and DOEs, capability studies, etc.3.  Lead corrective action teams.4.  Interface with major customers regarding tool and process validations, and corrective actions.Other areas for development and contribution are:1.  Vision inspection systems.2.  Six Sigma training and implementation3.  Maintenance and development of ISO 9001 quality system, potentially adding ISO 13485.Requirements:1.  Bachelors degree in math, science or engineering.2.  2-5 year experience in an engineering, scientific or technical field.Experience and skills in the following areas are desirable.1.  Minitab.2.  Six Sigma3.  OGP inspection systems4.  Machine vision systems5.  Managing or implementing ISO 9001 or 13485, or similar standards.
