Quality Inspector - Ideal candidate will have experience inspecting steel wire or other steel products. The Quality Inspector performs visual inspection to ensure product free of surface defects.  Uses micrometers,calipers, tensile machine and spectrometer. Performs the following tests: Final Product Visual Inspection,  Macro-etch Test,Tensile Test, Reduction of Area Measurement,Elongation Test, Rockwell Hardness Test,  Spark Test, Spectrometer Test and Maintenance, Microstructure Preparation,  Monthly Micrometer Calibrations.Basic skills/qualifications: General understanding of quality control. Familiarity with computers. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Able to read, write, and speak English.  Basic knowledge of steel is preferred.

 

Assistant Quality Manager – Possesses knowledge, skills and abilities required for quality inspection as described above.  In addition, ideal candidates for this position will have experience providing leadership for other inspectors, managing escalated inspection issues, documenting processes and assisting in the management of a quality system.  BA/BS preferred.
