Quality Assurance Inspector

Aeroflex/MicroMetrics is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to help in our Quality Assurance department.

Job Purpose:

Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

Duties:

* Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
*Grades, classifies, and sorts products according to size, weight, color, or other specifications.
*Collects or selects samples for testing for use as model.
*Discards or routes defective products or contaminants for rework or reuse.
*Uses or operates product to test fuctional performance.
*Computes percentages or averages, using formulas and calculator, and prepares reports of inspection or test findings.
