Quality Assurance Manager - Manufacturing

The QA Manager's key responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining and updating the quality management system (QMS); Schedules, tracks and conducts internal audits.  Schedules and supports customer audits; Responsible for training, tracking, logging, and posting changes to QMS documentation while maintaining the proper structure, integrity, and accuracy of the QMS; Processes, tracks and closes documentation for Corrective Action Requests and Preventive Action Requests; Leads continuous improvement opportunities and coordinates implementation.


Candidate must be a United States citizen without dual citizenship.  The candidate should be familiar with ISO certification, Value Stream Mapping, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.  Minimum Qualifications include an Associate Degree in a technical area as well as a strong statistical background.  Manufacturing experience is preferred.  Must have excellent problem-solving skills, strong computer skills and possess the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.  Must be highly organized, able to establish priorities and complete tasks on deadline.  Minimal business travel required.
