Quality Assurance Technician

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our professional team.  This new position will play a critical role within our Quality team to ensure that MPE continues to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.  We maintain high quality standards and are ISO 9001/2000 certified.

 

One of the primary roles this position will focus on is performing inspection activities such as: in-process inspections, final part inspections, analysis of returned goods and part qualifications.  Continuous process improvement activities will also be a major responsibility for the individual in this position.

 

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience in a quality role.  Manufacturing experience in the machining, fabrication or plastics industry will be a plus.  Experience reading blueprints, using calipers, CMM and other gaging is also required. Experience with continuous improvement projects, failure analysis for corrective actions, auditing skills, GD & T knowledge  and calibration of gages are all of benefit to this position.
