We currently have a Quality Audit Specialist career opportunity at our Dallas, Texas location.

 

Job Summary: There are three key responsibilities in this hands-on, collaborative position:

 Perform Quality audits daily of a representative sample of outgoing product. Perform Process audits to ensure compliance to posted procedures.Quality Double checks as needed.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

· Support operations in quality initiatives.

· Maintain frequent, detailed, and efficient communication with employees.

· Understand, troubleshoot, and perfect the use of quality systems.

· Act as an important contributor to the total business process.

· Insist upon safety and quality in everything we do.

· Take personal responsibility for administrative details.

· Ensure consistent application of established policies and procedures.

· Establish and maintain effective working relationships.

· Support new product development.

· Perform other tasks as assigned by managing director.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· Previous experience in a quality role within an optical lab is a must.

· Knowledge of basic optical lab operations is necessary.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to provide necessary reports to management.

· Ability to demonstrate and communicate quality methods.

· Self-starter and self-directed.
