Quality Control

Job Summary



 

This position is in a manufacturing environment and requires a “hands-on” approach to quality control.  In addition to daily quality functions, this individual will have the opportunity to establish quality procedures and forms for the company, perform or coordinate tests to industry standards, and be a part of the new product development process.  Josam has recently invested in state-of-the-art measuring equipment to give this individual a powerful and easy-to-use tool for inspections.

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience in quality control

· Able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and suppliers

· Familiarity with ISO Quality standards

· Proficient with standard MS Office applications

· Strengths in organizational skills and attention to detail

 

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

· Perform inspections on supplied components

· Disposition decision and action on non-conforming parts

· Responsible for inspection equipment and gauges

· Corrective action communication

· Quality document control
