Quality Control Inspector

Tests and inspects machined products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs a variety of inspection functions including: receiving inspection from subcontractors, first piece inspection, floor audits and final inspection.

Audits plant work instructions and procedures.

Trains or assists operators.

Interprets print specifications for inspections.

Setup and utilize various inspection equipment including: caliper, micrometer, comparator, height gages, thread gages and CMM if capable.

Conducts other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Department Manager.
