Quality Control Inspector Opportunity (Direct Hire)

Our client, located in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a permanent/direct hire position.Reports to Quality Assurance ManagerJob Description R&D and Manufacturing Facility. This inspector's primary responsibilities are to carry out quality control procedures for complete devices, custom made parts and assemblies for systems and auxiliary manufacturing equipment. This Quality Control Inspector will conduct final inspection functions of all devices prior to distribution to customers and also assist in the receiving inspection functions of custom made parts and assemblies used in devices. This quality control inspector will create and maintain quality documents appropriate to the general inspection and equipment maintenance functions. Responsibilities will also include investigating quality issues and maintaining tools, gauges, fixtures, and other hardware necessary for the various inspections, including PM and calibration schedules.Responsibilities: This inspector's primary responsibilities are to carry out quality control procedures for complete devices, custom made parts and assemblies for systems and auxiliary manufacturing equipment. Qualifications:- High School Diploma or Associates Degree - At least one year experience as a quality control inspector in a manufacturing environment - Background or certifications in Lean Manufacturing and/or ISO-9000 methodologies preferred. - Experience in quality assurance field within auditing, engineering, and inspection, testing etc. - Demonstrated trouble-shooting and technical problem-solving skills. - Experience in writing and executing engineering test protocols. - Understanding of experimental design and statistics. - Experience with medical device and consumable verification and validation activities. - Ability to read and understand regulatory, quality and requirements documents in order to apply to manufacturing and quality systems. - Ability to determine essential components of requirements in order to include them in applicable quality engineering policies and procedures. - Ability to read, understand and provide input and guidance on all levels of documentation. - Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally within company.
