Quality Control Supervisor to guide second shift!

Quality Control Supervisor

 

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for developing and deploying quality plans, processes and initiatives to assure overall product and operational quality. The Quality Supervisor will direct and oversee the Quality function with several direct and indirect reports, providing training and development.

 

Hours for this position are Monday to Friday, second shift, 3 pm to 11:30 pm. Overtime and Saturdays as required by the workload.

 

Qualified applicants will have:4-6 years supervisory experience in a production environment, to include 3-5 years in a manufacturing Quality leadership position.First Pass Quality: Demonstrates leadership in the area of first pass quality in an effort to minimize waste and maximize plant efficiency. This includes operator training, process auditing and recommendations to management on best practices.Cell phone and Electronics experience preferredAbility to multi-task within a team environmentA positive “can-do” attitudeStrong motivation to succeedProblem solving skillsA strong ability to set and prioritize goalsPC skills including MS Office and Excel, MAS 200 a plusVerbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills, emphasizing interpersonal communication skills

 

Duties include:Support the Quality Control Team according to company policies and proceduresAccomplish responsibilities by fostering a team environment, facilitating teamwork, heightened/constant communications, problem identification and resolutionConduct formal performance evaluations for inspectors to assess and help improve their performancePrepare technical reports, charts, and graphs documenting production history.  Analyze trends and make recommendations for improvementPlan, coordinate, and/or attend meetings regarding quality & overall production problems and assist in the problem-solving processWork with other supervisors to maximize the overall production flow from one department to the nextPerform all other duties assigned including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills, and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks in support of the company
