We are looking for a positive and energetic Quality Control Technician to work in our lab. Requires up to 20 hours per week.  This is a great opportunity for students as this position can go full-time during the summer. 

Essential Responsibilities of the Role- Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Performs all lab procedures including sample dispersions, testing and record keeping. Tests products at specified stages in production process for a variety of qualities such as viscosity, solids and ph. Suggests, tests, documents, and implements process improvements. Custom sample preparation Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.Adheres to the safety and health policies and procedures.Maintains a clean work area. Performs other duties as requested. 

We are looking for a great team player whose background includes- Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree preferred.  High school Diploma/GED required. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality. Computer proficiency. Color matching experience a plus. Ability to work in a fast paced, professional environment. A self-starter with efficient time management abilities. Work in collaborative and team-oriented environment. Effective written/oral communication skills are a must. Strong math skills.
