Currently we are looking for a Quality Process Improvement Leader(must have switchgear experience) for our Fridley, Minnesota location. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ' This position's key impact on quality is in the area of material flow, cycle time, and production.' Be the liaison between engineering, shop floor, material and QA. Also will be responsible for developing standards with engineering and reducing errors.' Responsible for Accuracy of WA Database and set-up reviews with Engineering staff, Manufacturing, and Engineering on data trends and issues.' Look for root cause fixes and drive continuous improvement of Quality system between Engineering and shop floor.' Look for root cause fixes and drive continuous Improvement of Quality system on warranty issues and drive throughput improvements in test' Functional back-up to Master Scheduler during absence' Plan, coordinate, and implement product change and new product introduction initiatives within Materials and engineering to ensure smooth shop floor introduction.' Develop, communicate, and implement planning strategies that are consistent with long term business objectives, and that are in agreement with directions within Operations, Marketing & Sales, Engineering, Materials, and other functional areas.' Identify and pursue continuous improvement initiatives in external material flow processes and systems including switchgear.' Implement Lean Manufacturing processes and drive Six Sigma. SKILLS - QUALITY/IMPROVEMENT:' Must have minimum mechnical or electrical engineering bachelors degree' Must have 4-6 years of manufacturing otr engineering swithgear operation experience. ' Must have Leadership and coaching experience with professinal staff.
